We're on a mission to give families their time back
CoupleCal was born from a simple frustration: keeping a busy family organized shouldn't require five different apps and a spreadsheet. We set out to build the one app that brings it all together — powered by AI, designed for real life.
Our Story
CoupleCal started with a partner in PT and a partner in IST trying to share a calendar. The off-the-shelf options either dropped timezone information silently, made one person mentally convert every event, or asked them both to live in the same zone — fine if you do, brutal if you don't.
We built CoupleCal so a 9 AM event authored on one side of the world reads as the right wall-clock time on the other side, with no math, no surprises, and no "wait, was that your 9 or my 9?"
Around that core, we layered the rest: voice input, snap-to-calendar AI for the flyers and screenshots that pile up, smart reminders that factor in traffic, and per-family privacy modes. Each one earned its place by surviving a week in our own household before shipping.
